I remember when Tantra launched into the market… I was in college around that time and those funny, tongue-in-cheek quotes on tees, took us all by storm! We would go looking far and wide for Tantra tees and so many of us eventually ended up having the exact same stuff!
What started with Tantra was carried on, and bettered by a whole host of brands thereafter… people came up with funnier, crazier, more controversial and sometimes much meaner prints, lines and cartoons. However, no matter how many of these brands that popped up, similar and same cartoons showed up on tees over and over again.
When I first heard of The Souled Store… I assumed it would be something similar… like Chimp or Tantra or so many others! But one visit to their online store and I was hooked! It’s not just any random cool lines and designs… they’ve got official merchandise of Star Wars, Harry Potter, Looney Tunes, Marvel Comics, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Lord of The Rings, A.I.B… you name it! Frankly Marvel and Star Wars is quite commonly available but Harry Potter, LOTR, Friends!! That was unexpected! (I only wish they had Game of Thrones too, and it would all be soo complete!) There’s sooo many more things that I wanna buy now, my wallet is pretty much freaking out! 😉 And not just tees… everything from mobile phone covers to bags, mugs, coasters, diaries, cool painted sneakers, etc. etc.! It’s an amazing place to find really cool gifts for people… and is pretty reasonably priced too!
And if that’s not all… they have a panel of artists who create artworks and designs for their products… and what’s even better is that they’re open to anyone who wants to submit their own artwork and watch it come alive on The Souled Store merchandise!
All in all, I’m quite impressed with the quality and the variety of funk available on their online store. So here’s me, wearing my favorite Daffy Duck tee! Sarcasm is, after all, another service I offer 😛
Oh and that owl tote bag, which has by default become my ‘Monday Morning’ work bag… is definitely one of the cutest things I’ve seen! (Sends the right message across too :P)
